Rob Marshall

(B. 1962)

‘Elegant tall bottles, sumptuous shallow bowls, sand etched to give a subtle texture and gentle play with light'.

Rob studied 3D Design, specialising in glassblowing, at the West Surrey College of Art and Design, Farnham. He started his own studio in 2000 and now teaches Hot Glass Techniques at the Bournemouth and Poole Collage. His work has been exhibited in numerous national and international exhibitions and is held in many private collections throughout Europe and the USA.

‘Colour can be used within an interior space to communicate a desired mood or ambiance. Glass has a particular quality of capturing colour and bringing it into a room’.
