Dave Hacker, ‘Through the Viewfinder’.

Harris Interiors is proud to present the first solo exhibition of work by Bournemouth-based photographer Dave Hacker, featuring his internationally acclaimed Dorset series, ‘Through the Viewfinder’, a project started in 2006 in conjunction with the Harris Interiors Gallery

 

Selected images from the ‘Through the Viewfinder’ project will be exhibited alongside images from Hacker’s more recent London series, ‘Metropolis Reversed’, courtesy the Eyestorm gallery, London. The exhibition will also feature colour images of New York, as well as selected other works from the artist’s extensive portfolio.

ANDREW NADOLSKI, 'The End of the Land'. For the past year, Andrew's work has been part of a group exhibition touring Public Art Galleries and Museums across the UK in celebration of the National Maritime Museums' 'SeaBrittain' festival. Harris Interiors is delighted to present a selection of Andrew's haunting and beautiful images, taken from his critically acclaimed book, 'The End of the Land';

‘Sea Scapes’. 7th April - 28th May 2005

An exhibition on the subject of the Sea, comparing the diversity of traditional photographic techniques as used by some of the UK’s most exciting contemporary photographers.

Techniques included in the show vary from pinhole to macro, 35mm to

10” x 8”, black & white to colour. There are also a select number of books and postcards by participating photographers available to buy during the exhibition.

In Honour of Poole’s first festival dedicated entirely to Photography, we are showcasing a selection of prints by the Icon’s of C 20th Photography, including works by Henri Cartier-Bresson, Elliott Erwitt, Martine Franck, Frank Horvat and Willy Ronis.

We are also exhibiting work by contemporary photographers who specialise in individual or unusual photographic methods, such as Catherine Marquis’ beautiful camera-less photographs, Catherine Jacobs’ macro photography and Henry Bird’s abstract C-Type prints.
